Last weekend Ryan and I spent memorial day weekend in utah with my family. We had originally planned on going down because it was my niece, savannah's birthday, but it happened to land on a wonderful 3 day weekend. On saturday, my family decided we wanted to go to my grandparents grave, which we do every memorial day weekend. My grandparents past when i was 8, so I don't have a TON of memories with them, but they are very close to my heart. On saturday night the boys went to see indiana jones and the girls had a little girls night. The girls then got our chance to go out to the movies on monday. We went to see made of honor and it was just kinda...meh...to us. But we ended to weekend with a delicious BBQ!
my grandma died first on Oct 24. and my grandpa didn't want to be without his sweetheart for Christmas and on Christmas eve he past.

grandma and grandpa were and still are very close to my heart. i love them like they were my parents. they had unconditional love for me and i will always appreciate how they welcomed me, a total stranger, into their family and loved me like their own daugther. thank you mindy for this blog. it made me cry.
