memorial day weekend

Last weekend Ryan and I spent memorial day weekend in utah with my family. We had originally planned on going down because it was my niece, savannah's birthday, but it happened to land on a wonderful 3 day weekend. On saturday, my family decided we wanted to go to my grandparents grave, which we do every memorial day weekend. My grandparents past when i was 8, so I don't have a TON of memories with them, but they are very close to my heart. On saturday night the boys went to see indiana jones and the girls had a little girls night. The girls then got our chance to go out to the movies on monday. We went to see made of honor and it was just kinda...meh...to us. But we ended to weekend with a delicious BBQ!

my grandma died first on Oct 24. and my grandpa didn't want to be without his sweetheart for Christmas and on Christmas eve he past.

camping adventure

The boys have been wanting to go camping for an EXTREMELY long time, but since it's been so cold whitni and i have been very hesitant. But this past weekend heated up to 80 degrees so we thought it was a perfect time to go! So on friday night we packed up and went to like 3 different camp sites with a little stop on the way when a herd of cows were trying to be rushed across the road. We finally ended up at the heise hot springs. It was a little bit different camping than i was expecting. We camped on very green grass near like 100 RVs, but at least we felt safe!

So..after my mom had tried to take care of my hair two weeks ago..it faded back to red! impossible color to get out. NEVER do it!! So to get rid of the hideousness that was my hair i went to a professional to get it taken care of! She told me there was no way to get it back to a pretty blonde from this so we went DARK brown to cover up the red. And I was originally planning on growing my hair back out, BUT that changed today! i thought..meh..if i'm going DARK brown, why not go all the way!

saturday fun

This weekend we went out to the idaho reserve and played on weston and whitni's go kart (or fun kart as weston calls it). At first i was slightly hesitant, i don't do well with things that are even slightly reckless..haha..but we had a really great time! Whitni and i got stuck on several occasions and had to pull ourselves out from the mudd, but we got it..we're women! the boys..heading down to play

apparently the guys couldn't get up the hill with both of them in it..haha..so weston got out and let ryan drive the rest of the way

There is now an official trailer for the twilight movie! It's only a teaser because obviously they haven't filmed a ton..but it's awesome! it totally leaves you wanting more! I've watched it like 100 times already..haha

Love from the neices and nephews

One of the great things about going to visit the fam is spending time with the kidlets. Since they don't see us everyday they get so excited to see us! Every morning jane saw me, she ran up and wrapped her arms around my legs with a huge smile on her face. It makes you feel so special...

macimo NEVER does this, but the buddy was sure tired!

Proud of the big bro

This past weekend Jeremy finally graduated from weber state! He's been working so hard for the past few years and we knew we couldn't miss this blessed event!..ryan just said it made him more jealous that it wasn't him who was graduating..haha..But we are still so proud of jeremy none the less!!

what are the chances of the only other guy in the auditorium wearing the same shirt as ryan, to be right behind us..haha....if you look closely the kid is actually smiling at the camera..he must have known he was being photographed..haha!

red+blonde=brown?

So my then brilliant idea of dying my hair red turned into a not so brilliant idea when the temporary color started turning orange. I knew it was eventually going to happen, but now the problem was how we were going to get it back to blonde. My mom learned how to mix a couple blonde colors together that would cover up the icky orange color. When the dying process finished, somehow my hair turned dark brown..haha. It's much better than the nasty orange, but now we gotta figure out how to turn dark brown to blonde again! just wait til the brown fades i guess!
