RYAN GRADUATED!

something you all knew was coming, but now let's just make it official! ryan got his bachelors in business management on july 24th! it was very exciting times..but we're grateful it's all over!

thank you family who were able to make it up to rexburg..we're thankful for your support!

terrible horrible no good very bad day

ryan didn't have the best day ever today. it started when he woke up late for work and couldn't take his morning shower. then while trying to transfer files from my comp to the hard drive the power went out and lost all of my pictures from my computer AGAIN. and then it doesn't help at school when you are in a group for the whole semester and the team leader feels their ideas are the only ideas that will work. on top of that i guess ryan had been texting/calling me for 2 hours and my phone apparently wasn't working. so he raced home thinking i had fallen in the shower and was unconsious or something. after finding out I was fine and that my phone was just having issues, he was frustrated by the fact that when he had texted that he just wanted to get a pizza..i didn't get it. so i offered to make a few others things and they were all shot down. extremely against going back out he decided he still wanted the deep dish hot and ready..SO he went back out just to get there and have them tell him..they ran out 10 minutes before..haha...now ryan is still trying to fix my comp and find my pictures..and being unsuccessful at all cost..poor guy:(

my ryan fix

So yesterday ryan had to leave me for this IBC retreat/camp out. IBC is this business class where they have to create a real business on campus for the semester. So why is a retreat necessary you ask? for some team building. lame. i'm kinda bitter..haha..so ryan left yesterday at 6 in the morning and won't be back til tomorrow night. Now..i've been without ryan before. We've spent plenty of time apart during our dating/engagement/certain weekends since we've been married. But we have NEVER gone without communication. So for the first time in two and a half years i'm going on day two without a text/phone call and i'm going through withdrawals. I need my ryan fix...

So last night i was talking with one of my best friends on instant message and we were talking about relationships and how cheesy is fun in the beginning because it gives you butterflies and such, but that with time it gets old. and i said something along the lines of..yeah..cheesy left mine and ryan's relationship a long time ago..he makes a joke out of everything now. and i may have said it kind of negatively. and she said:

"honestly, i love how yours and ryan's relationship is so real and funny and i definitely want something like that because you guys really seem like best friends."

shame on me...i don't know why i took that for granted...

It kinda made me reminisce to when ryan and i were dating so i thought i'd dig up some old photos...i'm constantly laughing with him..

oh "the ready face"...ryan used to make this face in EVERY picture and everyone would laugh and say wow ryan you look so ready for the camera and ryan would say well what if that's my "ready face"?...haha..i guess you had to be there.

The new year has kinda started out rocky for us. I still can't find a job and ryan is starting a new semester. Because i don't have a job yet, ryan has to work and do one of his busiest semesters yet. Ryan gets up at 5am for work at 6 and he doesn't get home until 5:30/6:00pm depending on the day. It's been really hard not seeing ryan all day. He's worn out already and it's only been a week since he's been on this schedule. The only time i have with him is the 3 hours at night before he goes to bed when he's doing homework. I realize this is a normal schedule for most, but i'm not used to it and i don't like it! I'm ready for this semester to be OVER. 4 more months and counting. Thankfully there is a light at the end of the tunnel. He should be graduating in july and we are STOKED!

i feel lots of times i talk more about myself than i do ryan...SO. my friend brittany gave me an idea...it's long so be prepared. here's ryan 101:

22. i've been put in hand cuffs 3 times-once while making sure my dad's shop was locked up-i was checking cars and the cop thought i was trying to steal one, another time for saying "i lived on campus"..when i didn't-just approved housing and it sounded too suspicious to the cop, another when i was 15..the cop pulled me over for an expired license plate in the high school parking lot in front of everyone Because i was only 15 the cop thought i stole the car.

94. rainy days are so much better in SC. i hate cold rain.
95. i wear contacts, but someday i want to have lasic eye surgery
96. i used to wear glasses as a kid and hated it
97. my favorite holiday is christmas, but i hate opening presents in front of people..even if it's a present i really like.
98. i really don't like reading...mindy tries to convince me that it's great, but i think she's lying
99. i would eat seafood everyday if i could..fish, mussels, lobster, crab, shrimp, calamari, oysters...i would die a happy man
100. i like watching diners, drive ins and dives with mindy...the food always looks so good
101. sometimes i get weird urges to open the car door of a moving vehicle and have to lock it just in case

i'm very original

so i'm way behind on posts and i know this...so we are going to start from a couple weeks ago with pumpkin carving...whitni and i went to broulims and picked out the pumpkins..weston didn't feel like carving that night..he wanted some inspiration first. so...whitni carved a star and a moon..ryan carved a sweet scene with a wolf howling at the full moon. and i was very original with carving 3 stars...haha. i don't normally carve and i'm pretty sure that this was the first pumpkin i have EVER carved...so i was still very proud of my work!

Ryan has officially decided he no longer wants to go into chiropractics. He's majoring in business management so who knows what he will do now, but he wants to be an entrepreneur. Hopefully he'll be done by the end of July. I'm feeling a little lost though now. We had everything planned out before and now we have nothing. But then again it is kind of nice because we can now start from scratch and live anywhere. Who know where the road will lead us. We just need to keep praying and hopefully we will get some answers:)

so a couple days ago while ryan was leaving the library a girl was leaving at the same time..he stayed behind because apparenly it's too awkward to walk next to her..well they walked out of the library..and if you don't know the byui campus..next to the library is a tunnel that is sort of a shortcut to other buildings and where ryan had parked. before they hit the tunnel the girl turned around and started to book it through the tunnel..haha..ryan was like what??? and when she got to the end of the tunnel, turned around again and saw ryan still walking behind her..she started running all over again..haha..apparently ryan looks like the rexburg rapist..haha...poor girl must have been scared out of her mind to think she needed to run in broad daylight and with plenty of witnesses around.

saves the day!

So a few weeks ago ryan was on my computer and a window popped up to do the whole windows update thing. It asked him to restart the comp so it could finish updating and when he did..the computer just kept restarting and would stop. So my computer was BROKEN. i thought...awesome..all my stuff..GONE. Ryan decided to go into the pc computer fixing place in rexburg and they told him nothing helpful. So..ryan, being the computer savvy person that he is, somehow figured out how to fix it and backed up my files and all the technical mumble jumble..but when he restarted the computer ryan couldn't find any of my pictures/videos/documents..pretty much thought they were gone for good! Me being the memory and picture queen was pretty upset over this. I had FOUR years of memories on that thing(roommates, family pictures, bridal shower, wedding, family trips, my best friends wedding, honeymoon..you get the picture)! Ryan felt really bad because he knew how it felt to loose those kinds of memories..he had lost two years of memories from all of his mission pictures. So again we decided to go back to the computer place and they figured it out!! i'm so GRATEFUL! As we speak, ryan if backing up my files/pictures on his hard drive so if we have another dreaded mishap like that again..i won't have to worry about it!!

Never try Jones Carbonated candy..unless used for a practical joke. Holly dared him to put the whole can in his mouth after everyone had tried it and threw up in their mouths.."It's getting foamy!" haha..42 pieces...sick.

As I lay sleeping..I heard a LOUD thud! scared the tar out of me!...and all i heard was..oowww...haha..apparently Ryan had tripped out of the shower. We have no idea what he hit his foot on, but we are pretty sure the last two toes are...broken...
